Adding a Java server

From the main menu choose Multiplayer, then Add Server, and paste the address into the address field. You do not need a port unless the listing shows one, because Java servers use 25565 by default and almost all of them publish an SRV record so the plain address works.

Version matters more on Java

A Java server accepts a specific version or a range of them, and connecting on the wrong one gives an outdated client or outdated server message. Every listing here shows the version we read from our own status ping. Many servers run a proxy that accepts a wide range, which is why some report a range rather than a single number.

How do I join a server from this list?

Every row carries the address players connect to. Copy it with the button on the row, open Minecraft, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server and paste it into the address field. Bedrock players add the same address under Servers, and if the listing shows a Bedrock port it is written next to the address. Nothing here needs a launcher, a mod or an account on this site.
