Adventure servers are built rather than generated. Somebody made the map, decided the route and placed what is at the end of it, and you play through it rather than settling in it. 149 Adventure servers are listed here, each one status-pinged from our own infrastructure so you can see which are populated before you join.
Adventure mode and why blocks will not break
These servers usually run the game in adventure mode, where you cannot break or place blocks without the right tool. That is deliberate: it keeps the map intact for the next player and lets the builder control exactly where you can go. If a block will not break, that is the mode, not a bug.
Custom items, NPCs and scripted events
The interesting adventure servers script their maps with NPC dialogue, triggered events, custom items with real abilities and boss encounters with mechanics. Most of that runs server side with a resource pack sent on join, so the standard client is all you need.
How do I join a server from this list?
Every row carries the address players connect to. Copy it with the button on the row, open Minecraft, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server and paste it into the address field. Bedrock players add the same address under Servers, and if the listing shows a Bedrock port it is written next to the address. Nothing here needs a launcher, a mod or an account on this site.
