Generators, resources and the shop
Iron and gold spawn on your island and feed the shop next to it; diamond and emerald generators sit on the middle islands and are worth fighting over because they buy team upgrades. Managing when to hold the middle and when to defend the bed is the whole game, and it is why solo queue and team queue play so differently.
Bed defence is worth more than gear
A wool box around the bed buys seconds; wool with end stone and obsidian under it buys minutes, and minutes are usually enough for a teammate to get back. Most losses come from spending everything on armour and nothing on the bed.
How do I join a server from this list?
