What is a Minecraft Economy server?
An economy server is one where the money is the game. Player run shops, an auction house, jobs that pay, and prices set by whoever is willing to sell cheaper than you. 662 Economy servers are listed here, each one status-pinged from our own infrastructure so you can see which are populated before you join.
Where the money comes from
Every economy needs a faucet and a sink or it inflates. Faucets are usually jobs, quests, mob drops sold to an admin shop and daily rewards; sinks are land claims, upkeep, repairs, auction fees and cosmetics. A server that pays generously with nothing to spend on is one where a diamond costs a fortune by month two, and you can spot it by asking what a stack of diamonds trades for.
Player shops versus admin shops
An admin shop buys and sells at a fixed price and sets the floor and ceiling for everything else. Player shops sit under that and compete. The best economy servers keep admin prices deliberately unattractive so players have a reason to trade with each other, and the shopping district is worth a look before you commit.
How do I join a server from this list?
