What is a Minecraft Factions server?
Factions is Minecraft as a territory war. You form a faction, claim chunks, build a base you can defend, and take everything from the people who built theirs badly. 66 Factions servers are listed here, each one status-pinged from our own infrastructure so you can see which are populated before you join.
Power, claims and why bases fall
Every member contributes power, and power is what holds your claimed chunks. Die and you lose some, which is why a faction that loses a fight also starts losing land. Raiding is legal by design: if a faction drops below the power needed for its claims, the chunks become overclaimable and whatever is inside becomes fair game.
Base design is the actual skill
Cannon resistant walls, buffered chests, printer built layers and a spawner room nobody can reach are the real content on a factions server. Which cannons work depends on the server version and its patch list, so read the rules page before spending a week on a design the server has already patched out.
How do I join a server from this list?
Every row carries the address players connect to. Copy it with the button on the row, open Minecraft, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server and paste it into the address field. Bedrock players add the same address under Servers, and if the listing shows a Bedrock port it is written next to the address. Nothing here needs a launcher, a mod or an account on this site.

How do I start a faction?
Use the faction create command with a name, then claim the chunk you are standing in. Invite people to raise your power, which raises how many chunks you can hold. Most servers cap claims by member count, so a solo faction is a small base by design.
