Hardcore is survival with the safety off. One life. Die and you are done, spectating or banned from the world depending on how the server runs it. 31 Hardcore servers are listed here, each one status-pinged from our own infrastructure so you can see which are populated before you join.
What happens on death
Servers handle the end differently. Some drop you into spectator so you can watch, some ban you for a set period, and some remove you from the world permanently and put your name on a memorial. The listing or the rules page states which, and it matters a great deal to how you will play.
Why hardcore worlds look different
When death is permanent people build differently: safer bases, more redundancy, less caving at night, and far more caution around the nether. A hardcore world that has run for a while tends to have careful infrastructure and a small, very committed population.
How do I join a server from this list?
Every row carries the address players connect to. Copy it with the button on the row, open Minecraft, choose Multiplayer, then Add Server and paste it into the address field. Bedrock players add the same address under Servers, and if the listing shows a Bedrock port it is written next to the address. Nothing here needs a launcher, a mod or an account on this site.
How we order the Hardcore list
Our editor's picks lead, then the rest of the page is ordered by the votes players cast this month. Votes reset on the first of each month. Servers without a banner sit at the end, because a row with nothing to look at is a row nobody clicks.
