- We track 888 Minecraft servers. 774 answered our last status ping.
- Player counts come from our own status ping to each server's own address, repeated roughly every five minutes. Nothing is copied from another list and no owner types a number in.
- A server that stops answering keeps its listing and shows its last reading labelled "last seen", never as live.
- The numbered list is ordered by votes cast this month, below a small set of editor's picks. Votes reset on the first of every month. No numbered position is for sale.
- We publish no star ratings for servers we have not reviewed.
- Country pages place a server where its address answers from, resolved and looked up in a database we host. That is the machine, not the owner.

Crawling
Everything indexable is in sitemap.xml, split by entity with real per-URL lastmod. robots.txt is open to every agent. New and changed URLs are submitted through IndexNow as they publish. There is nothing behind a login worth crawling, and the pages that are noindex say so in their meta robots tag.
